Regional Meetings

TISCA is really pleased to be able to arrange some in-person regional meetings again – and are very grateful to our host schools. Whilst we continue to enjoy some ‘regional’ (actually worldwide) meetings termly via Zoom, it is so good to be able to have fellowship and a meal together in person. Our ‘pattern’ remains the same: gather for refreshments between 6.00 and 6.30 pm, have a presentation / discussion / prayer from 6.30 to 7.30 pm, and then enjoy a meal from about 7.45 to 9.00 pm. Each event is £15.00 per person to cover the costs of refreshments and the meal. Do, please, join us – and let colleagues and friends in neighbouring schools know.

The overall topic for our Regional Meeting talks is ‘Courage’.

• Thursday 13 October 2022 – Dean Close School, Cheltenham. Our speaker that evening will be Laura Mears, Co-Founder at Salmon Swimming.
• Wednesday 9 November 2022 – Thames Christian School, Clapham Junction, London. Gareth Jones, Schools Specialist at London City Mission will be our speaker. We will also be joined by Janet Wilson from Dernier Publishing who will give a short introduction to their books for young people.
• Wednesday 18 January 2023 – Farringtons, Kent
• Thursday 27 April 2023 – Lambrook School, London West
• Wednesday 3 May 2023 – Castle Court, South West (with Association of Christian Teachers)
• Thursday 4 May 2023 – Framlingham College, Suffolk, East Anglia

The programme for the evening will be as follows:

• 6.00pm Arrival and drinks
• 6.25pm Welcome and Introduction
• 6.30pm Talk, followed by questions and discussion
• 7.45pm Dinner
• c.9.00pm Departure

We are very grateful to all the schools for inviting us to hold these evenings.

Each evening promises to be stimulating and enjoyable, as well as being a good opportunity to meet together informally with others of like mind. Please come if you can. All staff (academic and non-academic) as well as Governors and parents are most welcome.

The charge for the evening will be £15 per head (to include the cost of dinner and drinks) (free to members of the hosting school). Payment can be made in advance or on the evening. Please fill in the form below.
