The post holder will manage and lead a small team of maintenance staff to carry out preventative, reactive and scheduled maintenance. The post-holder will also advise and liaise with contractors as they work on site. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out
quality control checks on the maintenance team’s completed job tickets as well as work carried out on site by external contractors. They will also work closely with the Bursar, Estates Manager and their deputy in planning and scheduling projects as well as assisting in the
allocation of staff and resources to ensure that projects are carried out successfully and that safety and compliance regulations are adhered to. The Post holder will be expected to carry out practical work and demonstrate their experience and abilities as they provide the example to their team.
