Our Secondary School consists of grades 6 through 12 and uses the Cambridge Curriculum.

We are looking for teachers in the areas of:

• Mathematics
• Sciences – Biology and Chemistry
• Social Studies/Geography
• English
• Physical Education
• Spanish
• French
• Art

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree Education or related subject
• Teaching Licence, Qualification or Credential
• Experience with teaching the Cambridge Curriculum (desired, but negotiable)

• Demonstrate understanding of recent educational trends and best practices, including relevant curriculum and learning and assessment theory
• Experience designing personalized and differentiated learning experiences for students
• Effective classroom management techniques
• Commitment to positive communication with all stakeholders
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to contribute to a positive school environment for students, staff and the overall community
• Passion for excellent education
• Willingness to learn

Responsibilities:

• Teach courses assigned by the secondary principal
• Carry out all assigned duties with professionalism
• Teach and serve in a broad range of responsibilities as requested by administration
• Communicate timely and professionally with parents as needed, discussing student performance and writing annual reports
• Maintain personal teaching certifications
• Participate in ongoing professional development
