Alastair Reid has been the General Secretary of TISCA since April 2019. Alix Stockwell is the Development Officer, who also started in April 2019. Revd Anthony Buckley joined the team in 2024.

General Secretary

Alastair Reid took over as TISCA General Secretary in April 2019. He has been a TISCA member since its inception in 1995 and in recent years has been a Trustee and the Chair of the General Purposes Committee.

Alastair was born and brought up in West Africa and went to boarding school in Scotland. He has taught (History, RS and Sport primarily) in schools in England, Scotland and India and has more recently been a Principal (Hebron School, India) and also a Head (Ballard School, Hampshire). He has been trained as an ISI inspector, is a School Governor and helps out at rekonnect, a camp for the children of returning Overseas’ Christian workers. He lives in Redditch with his wife, Rosalyn, and has three married children and six grandchildren.

Alix Stockwell

Development Officer

Alix joined TISCA in April 2019 as our first Development Officer. She is responsible for our content, whether it be our website, e-newsletters or social media. She is a Social Media marketing consultant for small businesses and charities and has worked within the education sector for both prison education and independent schools. Alix balances her part time roles with supporting charities as a trustee and likes nothing better than a hot cuppa, a cat and a good book!

Reverend Anthony Buckley

TISCA Chaplain

Anthony has spent many years in schools and in parish ministry. He currently lives in Oxford. He  been involved in TISCA for ten years and is committed to supporting chaplains, seeing their ministry as vital to the spiritual and emotional well-being of young people. He writes and speaks on a variety of topics, and is always happy to visit schools.. Anthony can be reached directly on 07841 800609.
