TISCA’s members are spread across more than 150 independent schools in the UK.
These are primarily in England but with significant contacts in Scotland, Wales and some overseas member schools. The original founding group grew out of the Wadhurst Fellowship and, when TISCA was launched in 1995, consisted of eighteen Heads. School membership has now grown to some 16 Foundation Schools and over 40 Associate Schools. There are a further 70 plus schools in which we have one or more individual members. There are also a few Overseas’ Schools affiliated to TISCA stretching from East Europe to East Africa, and Asia.
School membership runs from the 1st September to the 31st August each year. We welcome new individual members at any time in the year.
Important note to parents:
If you are looking for a school for your child or children, we suggest that you may well wish to look at one or more of the schools listed below. All the schools listed have one or more people on their staff who are members of TISCA. But we must emphasise that we cannot and do not recommend any school for any particular pupil. The decision about choice of school must rest with the parents, and we are unable to enter into any discussions with schools on behalf of pupils before, during or after admission. Parents are very welcome at our Regional Meetings and Annual Conference.
