English Teacher

This is an exciting opportunity to teach English at one of the country’s leading day and boarding Prep Schools. The successful applicant will be an English specialist with an outstanding subject knowledge and a proven record of, or ambition for, preparing children for senior school life. With a passion for classroom teaching and an ability to teach multiple subjects, he/she will be inspirational in both their teaching and their manner outside of the classroom.

• Teach English to Cothill pupils in Years 5-8 preparing them for Common Entrance and beyond.
• Be a Form Tutor, taking oversight of a group of pupils on a day to day basis
• Carry out duties in line with other teaching staff.
• Be involved in the wider life of the school, ideally including Sport.
• Fulfill wider responsibilities as determined by the schools’ leadership team in line with other staff commitments.
